Recently, Ruifeng Company’s RFMS Second-Generation Single-Trip Multi-Zone fracturing and packing technology has been successfully field-applied in Shengli Offshore Oilfield.

The operation realized Multi-Zone fracturing and packing in a 7-inch casing with a single trip of the string. The construction process was smooth and stable, the downhole tools were in good condition, and the key parameters met expectations, verifying the reliability of the technology.

Technology Upgrade: Higher Pressure Rating, Lower Friction, Adapted to Larger-Scale Operations

Based on the mature experience of the first generation, the second-generation single-trip Multi-Zone technology has been upgraded to better meet the demand for higher displacement and larger-scale single-trip Multi-Zone packing, and to broaden the construction parameter window:

Pressure rating increased to 7500 psi, significantly improving applicability under high-pressure conditions;

Packing friction greatly reduced, greatly enhancing the stability of pumping operations;

Adapted to higher displacement and larger sand volume, meeting the Multi-Zone fracturing requirements of more working conditions.

From field construction parameters, the second generation has achieved a wider operation window compared with the first generation:

Second generation: packing displacement up to over 4 m³/min, well interval span up to over 800 m.

The one-time successful field application of Ruifeng’s RFMS Second-Generation Single-Trip Multi-Zone fracturing and packing technology provides more options for Multi-Zone stimulation and refined exploitation of oil and gas fields.
